Celebrating Easter

Our Easter weekend was full of a ton of fun. Kurtis and I colored eggs with the kids on Saturday night. Easter morning the kids wokeup and searched for their hidden baskets, and breakfast was replaced with chocolate and a delicious brunch cooked by Kyler and Claire at Grandma and Grandpa Loveland's house. We all played at grandma's, colored more eggs, jumped on the trampoline and ate a lot of food. We then proceeded to go up to Old Main Hill at USU where we rolled eggs down the hills while chasing them at the same time, while there the guys played catch football, we had KFC for lunch and enjoyed the first great weather day in a long time. The whole family had a great day, and the kids were exhausted by the time we made it home.
I like to think that she is still always there for me. When I miss her the most it is when I am watching my kids do something amazing, funny, intelligent or crazy. I know that she watches over all of us. She was the greatest woman; mom, grandma, sister and friend. We have always been proud of her. I feel some days like she is standing beside me helping me cope with whatever life may throw at me. She is often in my dreams and always in my prayers. She ushers each of my children into this world with so much happiness and knowledge that I wonder what she has left for me to teach them. Always having a watchful eye on everyone, she was the protector. She is still around all of us, protecting, advising, nurturing and most of all loving. She is our hero!!!
