Sprinklers

IT IS SO FREAKING HOT!!! I won't say that I miss the snow, but I had no problem with 70 degree weather nor did I mind the rain. At
least we are taking advantage of the heat. Twice a week or more my kids, the daycare kids and I set up the sprinklers and run around getting soaked. It breaks up the monotony of the day, cools everyone off just before lunch and wears out the kids so quiet time is actually quiet. If you cannot tell Kambry absolutely loves to pose for pictures ... reminds me of someone I know ... Kanyon acts like a tough guy, but deep down he's a softy at heart ... just like his daddy... Peyton, with that smile, she gets anything she wants. Peyton thinks she is the coolest kid in the world...she can crawl and pull herself up to things, and she likes when mom or dad move real fast to get things out of her mouth...sometimes, dirt just taste good. Peyton also likes to wave when people say Hi or byebye. She loves when mom or dad get excited with words like mama or dada, she thinks she's just singin'. All-in-all in her world she is just so awesome!!! I do not particularly like getting my picture taken, but I love making my kids happy, so there you go. It was time to dry off, so here some of us are after a full hour in the sprinklers, a little red, a little hungry, but happy just the same.
I am glad to know that Kambry is not jealous yet of her baby sister. The other day she was asking when birthdays were, she got to Peyton, I told her August 11th. With a huge smile and a lot of giddyness Kambry asked if her and Peyton were going to have a party together. Kurtis and I had not planned on doing a combined party, but Kambry was so excited that we decided it would be okay. So, now Kambry is telling people about her and Peyton's birthday party. We have to take advantage of this when we can, because who knows how long it will last. Two more years and they'll probably be driving each other crazy. Sisters?!

Kurtis and I went golfing at Sherwood Hills Golf Course just up the canyon. Kurtis shot a 40 and I shot a 62, I stink!!! But we both have a beautiful follow through, check out that form.

I wonder if anyone besides immediate family believes that our kids tend to look similar to one another, or if we are just biased because they are our kids. So... here is a picture of all three kids at age 6 months. What do you think?

Peyton

Peyton Riley is the most recent addition to our family, she is almost ten months old. She loves to eat, and wrestle with her brother and dance with her sister. She has a contagious smile and loves to tease her daddy. When she is excited or eager she flaps her arms so fast we think she's going to fly away. To all those who don't know here, this is Peyton!

We're finally here!

Everyone has been telling us to set up a blog site, but I was just being stubborn, didn't need it whatever. Anyway so I finally am here with a blog. I am excited to see how other people are doing and to tell my daily, weekly, monthly or yearly achievements.
